As of recently, why are 20% of my teammates always AFK. i had 3 games back to back of an AFK player getting slugged on the floor and still didn’t move, with 3 idle crows on their head. Why don’t the devs put up a AFK prompt from time to time to ensure players are active in their matches. It’s kind of tiresome to 3v1 a good killer who knows what they’re doing and not having that extra person handicaps the team. Also killers who are AFK just make it hard to rank up. Is this normal to just have random spikes of AFK players or.. im slightly new (4 months) and i haven’t really dealt with many AFK players until recently.

(btw AFK prompt like how netflix does the “are you still watching?”)

    What would AFK prompt do with AFK players? How would it help to solve the 3v1 situation?

    As for the reasons: killers AFK to drop their MMR and have easier games. Survivors who AFK at the start have probably went away to the bathroom or to make some tea, and just don't care about the game enough anymore, so they take their time.

    Actually this is a good point. Maybe if your character (killer or survivor) doesn’t move for x amount of time it equals a disconnect.


    it is also really annoying to go against an afk killer
