Rework Pig's Reverse Bear Traps, please!

I'm sure there have been other threads on this, but I wanted to give my take on it. First, for those that don't know, I'll start with an explanation of how Pig's Reverse Bear Traps currently work.

Each of the boxes have a trap assigned to them, and that box and only that box will open your trap.

Which means, even with them randomly placed around the map, 3 of the 4 boxes have a 0% chance of having the key to your trap. So you could get lucky and find the right box first time, or you could get completely unlucky and find the box last.... and if the nearest box is already occupied, do you wait to see if they get a key or do you go to another box... so you go to another box, then find no key which means that was definitely your box now that Meg was at... oh wait Amanda was running Tampered Timer, game over.

This IMO is unfair to the survivors when they take the time to check all 3 'dud' boxes and don't get their key, and it's also unfair to Amanda when that survivor gets lucky and first box has their key. It's very binary luck.

So the rework I would like to see is for each box to have a cumulative chance to have the key. So say 20%/40%/60%/80%^/100% (which would mean adding a 5th puzzle box to the map) or even just 25% if you didn't want to add a 5th box.

Then the addons that increase time to check boxes could add more boxes too, so boxes closer together maybe.

Point is, as it is now, the way it's so binary luck based is IMO and many friends (both killer and survivor mains) most of us agree this is unfair to both Amanda and the survivors.
