I swear you wouldn’t think there’s actually a DC penalty in this game

The amount of people that disconnect is baffling, either at the start of the game because they don’t like the map and/ or killer, or they were the first to go down 30 seconds into the match

the amount of DC’s I see daily it’s like there isn’t even a penalty, which leads me to believe that the current one clearly isn’t working

should there be a harsher penalty? BP deductions or just a longer ‘time out’ period, either way something needs to be done because this game has enough issues without having to deal with salty disconnecters every day that ruin the game for everyone else

    There is, but sometimes you hate the map so much you don't care about waiting for 5min.

    You should consider the fact that games can be taken hostage on both sides by griefing players or cheaters thus forcing a DC and that players are sometimes DCed by no fault of their own (e.g., steam maintenance).

    First penalty is fine. Second should be higher.

    'Everybody gets one', if you're not smart enough to realize your connection is bad, or that your DC habits are unhealthy, then you deserve the second one.
