I’d rather just make getting the teachables themselves easier. Prestige is meant to be a grind for dedicated players
Imo they should change the prestige system and make it so you only have to prestige once and you'd get all 3 bloody cosmetics, because that's pretty much the only reason people prestige.
What about perks?
See I agree. And some of the cosmetics have very little blood.
The problem is not the perks but the bloodweb prices.
Get rid some completely useless offerings and lower the prices like 20k per bloodweb.
The offerings of maps for example they can quit it and put browns.
The hatch offerings can go in the trash.
Just a thought I had on this. The devs could implement a system to "reroll" items, addons and offerings to get something else. Example: in League of Legends (dont judge me) you can reroll three skin shards you don't want to receive a random new one. Usually the same rarity or one tier higher. I'm no saying they would ever actually go for this, but dear lord it would help with all my fog, hatch, basement, hook and mori offerings.
I like the grind. When you earn a P3 survivor or killer you can be special. ;) because almost no one has them all unlocked. Take me for instance I have P3 Mikela. Everyone else has a CLaudie, NAncy, or Feng. I'm different YO!
Something like a market
Trade in things you don't want for BP
Spend BP on things you do want... namely Perks
The Shrine needs to go
I have all survivors p3 50. It's not special. The grind is trash.
Screenshot or it never happened. Talk is cheap. :)
Dont need to prove anything to a random person on the internet I'm afraid.
You have nothing then. :)
Of course, whatever helps you sleep at night. You're still not special.
They need to remove perk tiers imo. Most don't even have much of a difference.
Removing perk tiers, removing offerings that are useless (fog, luck and hatch offerings) and making prestige just once to get all bloody cosmetics would be enough imo.
It’s an outdated game design philosophy from the early days of free to play gaming. Free to play games were niche back then, so the developers had to bake arbitrary grinds into them to boost player retention.
Unfortunatrly some games still use this philosophy.
The GRIND is the best part of the game. It made me into a MAN. I am Married with Children now.
Say hi to Peg for me.
I find them reliable as a backup, if I use them I don't have to slug and run right to the hut, and that's convenient
I really started playing during silent hill.
Freddy was the first killer I got a finished build with, so I havent put any points into him since. I want to get the new scourge hook on it, its cost me millions so far. Its ridiculous. I have many killers like this. Its going to take me a month or 2 just to add the new scourge hook to my killers. And then there will be another killer by then.
Thats without prestige and survivors. I have earned 280m bp according to that stat tracker site and it still is grindy for me when a new killer / survivor comes out. I feel like I am always struggling to keep up. I wish theyd take a 3month cycle off to do QoL fixes.
I agree that the grind is trash, but I still want to see proof, if only so I can say you have indeed earned bragging rights.
