I asked this in the acronym thread but it never got answered so I thought maybe it could be expanded on here. What a pip is, was explained to me and I very vaguely understand. But how do I know when I've pipped? Is there some sort of visual representation? Is a pip the little triangle/diamond marks? I don't know. I'm asking you.

yep, the little marks along the line that fills up with red stuff.
