Cheat, validation hit or am i crazy?

Hi there fellow people of the fog, quick question that was bodering me.

I was playing as killer and i saw a few things wheird like.

1º Claudette touching an infected (by plage) gen and dont getting infected.

2º Same claudette was downed nearby a pallet (like 1 or 2 meters) and i think she teleported under that pallet.

3º Overall some hits that survivors screams but arent hurt.

So in those cases, its there some cheat that allow people to go under close pallets, was internet stuff or am i crazy?

Am i the only one that "hit but no hit"?

    1. No idea.
    2. Server Desync most likely. I have it happen to me every now and then. Down a survivor, it doesn't show them moving and then all of a sudden they teleport a bit since they were crawling the entire time.
    3. Validated Hits.

    For number 1, are you sure it was still contagious? It doesn't stay super long unless you use add-ons for it.

    For the other two what was said above is likely the cause.

    If anything the fact that they do the teleport on down is a good indication that Dead Hard will also screw you as killer since you're desynced. I keep getting hits on my end with screams and blood splatter only for the survivor to just keep running, they don't even do the DH animation but it's probably what it was. I don't get the long post hit animation of course, just the shorter miss animation, but it's still annoying.

    For 1, gen was green and i had the meme addon that gives 40 sec and the yellow one that gives another 30 sec, was weird.

    And yes, looks lke a lot of validation problems :S
