High-MMR Items, Addons & Map Offerings that influence it, wich is bad for the game Devs

Hi,

Yes, many players claim that the High-MMR is survivor-sided and that killers have to take certain things with them into the trail. Is that so ? Well, if you take a close look at it, there are some things that catch your eye.

So I found something from a well known player who describes the following:

-Queue as a 4-Man on comms

-Stretch Res to see over loops

-Bring Survivor-Sided Map

-Stack DS/Adren/Borrowed Time/Dead Hard

-Bring Medkit/Key

-Pick Ace (inbuilt Iron WIll) or Claudette (for Stealth)

In return then this ( Attention current patch state ):

-Queue as Nurse/Spirit/Blight

-Stretch Res for inbuilt Shadowborn

-Stack Corrupt/Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer/Pop

-Run Best Add-ons

-Bring Sacrificial Ward or their own Map Offering to win the 50/50

What I personally think about it ?: Also in my opinion, too many items Add ons and map offerings influence the MMR too much. I found a new video from a well-known streamer, who explains what you could change about all the items, Add ons and map offerings to bring the whole thing a bit more into balance. Let's not kid ourselves, the mindgame already starts in the lobby, but there is a big difference when you play against 4 survivors with meta perks and good items Map Offering, or against 4 survivors with other items and not meta perks. ( we all know maps are not balanced, there are killer and survivor sided maps )

Before you answer: Feel free to watch the video if you want (start it pls on 0:20 sec). Then you understand even better what I mean.

How do you see that ? Do you also think that the MMR is much too much influenced by it ?

I have to completely disagree with Otz idea of "full repairs". That would be unbelivably frustrating as a killer and would severely undermine the power of some of the better perks like pop and ruin.

However, you should also look at the opposite side. It would also weaken toolboxes. Of course, perks like Ruin or Pop would also be weaker, but the advantage is obvious.
