Are the "DID YOU HAVE FUN?" responses tracked by BHVR?

At the end of the game, you can select how much "fun" you had. Does anything actually happen with that? Meaning, is it collected data that BHVR uses to try to get numerical data on people's experiences? Or is it just a "scream into the void" kind of thing, where you get to "tell" BHVR how you felt about your game, but in reality, no one actually checks it, let alone records data on it.

Comments

  • The balls of fun are probably just screaming into the void

  • From what Devs have commented on, it is tracked and they would like you to do it more.

Do you remember where you saw that?

  • Almo mentioned that they use it, but their requests are specific when sorting--so they won't check for how much fun everyone has against Freddy, but they will check how much fun they have in games where they escape against Freddy.

If a killer fails to get any kills, chances are their "fun rating" will be completely disregarded.

So on, and so forth. You get the idea.

It could be a bit more in view if they want us to do it more.

    I always forget it's a thing

Interesting! And good to know. Thanks!
