...my dumb guess is that the next killer is gonna be a witch who:
- Has a special interaction with the crows, like maybe she can enchant crows to let her see the auras of nearby survivors, or make crows injure survivors.
- Has a secondary objective during matches of gathering ingredients that she brews into potions / spells between matches, and she gains add-ons that way either in addition to or instead of the bloodweb.
OR, the announcement is a new survivor who's a witch and has a perk that gives her a special interaction with crows, and another perk around gathering reagents for some reason, and her third perk is the first boon totem.
On further thought, that second one feels more likely, especially since it hasn't been that long since Pinhead, and he didn't have a new survivor.

If it IS a witch survivor, I hope it's an old lady, because we have old man Bill but we don't have an old lady survivor yet.
I mean, no matter if it's a tiny goth girl or big 'ol witch grandmama I'll be pretty happy. I've been waiting for those sweet, sweet survivor/crow interactions for quite some time.
That... Sounded weirder than intended. Hm.
I don't think it's going to be a killer (at least this update). Year 6 has 5 survivors and 4 killers planned. So if we get a survivor now, the next 2 chapters can have the usual 1 killer and 1 survivor and 1 of those two will have a new map.
There's only one map remaining this year, when they said they were releasing 2 new maps the rpd counted as one of them.
You never know, after losing Hawkins, perhaps they will change their mind.

Year 6 will have two maps. Year 6 is June 2021 to June 2022.
