Kindred

This perk should surpass undetectable and oblivious status effect imo. Thoughts?

  • I think they should just change insidious tbh

  • disagree, its fine the way it is, very few things counter it. Micheal is the only one who has the innate ability to be undetected by the perk

Kindred is my main perk BTW

  • Agreed, Kindred is a great perk as is, but the last QOL it really needs is to reveal undetectable killers too. Maybe do so in a smaller radius closer to the hook.

  • No. As dumb as insidious is as a perk, we should not make survivor perks supercede killer perks or powers.

Kindred with Open Handed can cover a pretty large area, if you mix that with a map like Midwich or the Game, that could really hinder normal stealth killers who aren't camping the hook, but close enough because you hooked the person in a central area.

  • Yep, because stealth killers are the most prone to camp for free hits and downs.

For that purpose this perk can be slightly modified: the detection range can stack with open handed, but the detection range of undetectable killers will be the same (16 meters if I'm correct), without being affected by open handed

  • Why do you want it? What is the goal you want to achieve?

  • Why? Insidious is not an excuse because when the killer hooks he is visible to Kindred before he goes to stand still and you KNOW he is there unless you are distracted doing something else and you didn't see him going to stand still. Kindred is already an awesome perk an I run it almost everytime I play solo, i don't think it needs more buffs. Stealth killers were already nerfed with the BT buff, i don't think they deserve even more damage to their kit.
