So do they really ever change things from the ptb

Didn't the devs say that the PTB is for testing and for feedback. but 9/10 times they don't change anything from the ptb. For example when mostly everyone said trickster is weak but they only changed him in the bug fix patch after the DLC came out.

the only time really they changed something from the ptb was lucky break out of everything. We said that the twin's nerf was bad but they still didn't listen. We said that the Freddy nerf didn't really change much he is still boring to go against but they didn't change anything. can you devs plz listen to the community.

  • They changed Demogorgon. The problem is, they (or whoever controls their schedule) do not give themselves enough time to make a large amount of changes.

    you could be on to something

  • Bugs? Yeah

    Balance wise? Very, very rarely.

    This is why we see less and less people bothering to test out the PTB.

    I mean, PTB is not even a good place to determine the strengths or weaknesses of a Killer. Sure, with Trickster and Twins the community was right, but I remember them calling Oni or Deathslinger weak as well.

    Like, balance-wise, there is not really a point in PTBs, the Killer most likely does not even have a Perk Set, nobody knows how to play against them or how to play as them.

    @Topic:

    It happens rarely. Mostly because there is not much time between PTB and Live Release, I think, the Devs have around 5 days to change something before it has to go live.

    They said, point of the PTB is to gather feedback earlier.

    But honestly, PTBs are just for the hype, nothing more. Just hype for the new Content, they are worthless when it comes to looking over the new content from a balance perspective.

  • They nerfed the oppressive Lucky Break from the PTB, sure it wasn't huge but they did half the timer which definitely had an effect.
