Are hex totems bugged?

Multiple times its happened, looked EVERYWHERE for a hex, i find every totem thats not lit, and nobody else can find them either.

    I remember that it *seemed* that when a killer was using undying, one of the totems didn't lit up well, and looked almost unlit. But it should still do the crackling sound as if it was lit. Try paying attention to that

    i found only the ones which were not lit. i literally couldnt find the other totem. i looked in every spot, i have no idea where it could of been. thats what the others said aswell.

    yeah yeah i know it makes the crackling noise, still had no idea where it was.
