i was just thinking about the survey. and how like, a pretty significant portion of it was basically
DO YOU THINK PLAGUE IS DISGUSTING? WHAT ABOUT THIS PICTURE OF HER VOMITING INTO DWIGHT'S MOUTH? WHAT ABOUT HER BOILS? WHAT ABOUT THESE WORMS? IS SHE GROSS? DO YOU THINK SHE'S GROSS? HOW GROSS IS SHE? ON A SCALE OF ONE TO TEN HOW GR
and it got me thinking about. the possibility that they have an even grosser killer in mind. like, just a really putrid, rancid, vile, toxic, nasty goblin in the works. and maybe they were like "oh maybe this is too much actually" and started hesitating, so they asked a bunch of questions about plague to see how people feel.
what's grosser than plague, though? organs? do they want to up the gore level of the game? maybe the next killer is gonna be a really mean monkey that throws 💩 around and has a knife? or like, some kind of infestation thing?
idk. morbidly curious about it though.

It might even be the Resident Evil killer, considering the looks of some of those zombies. But yeah, that wasn't exactly hiding their intentions on cooking up another body horror killer.
(The picture of her barfing on Dwight was hilarious because the specific question was if it was an accurate representation of the experience of Dead By Daylight, which... yes. Yes, it is. About the only thing more accurate would have been a picture of four Dwelfs tbagging a Nurse at the exit gates.)

that's true, there's some truly gross stuff in RE, but i'm pretty sure the RE stuff would be fully solidified by the time the survey came out (and not entirely their decision anyway) so they probably wouldn't bother asking in that case.
