"Aim Dressing" screws over killers more than it actually helps
Anyone else lost chases that have led to matches spiralling out of control because their lunge was successfully "dressed" into a wall?
Happens to me occasionally and really rubs me the wrong way when it does.
I've literally had my mouse motionless before outside of clicking for the lunge and somehow the survivor doing a tiny wiggle to the left, not even taking them out of my attack cone will spear me into a wall.

Aim dressing...is the auto aim...thats what the devs call it. It moves your camera and weapon to make the hit look more "legitimate". Which survivors know to abuse by just zig-zaging or turning quickly to force the aim dressing to drag your camera and weapon into like trees or walls.
Apparenrly this game doesn't have auto aim but a mechanic which is called "aim dressing".
What it does is making sure that animation align properly when a hit connects.
The problem with this mechanic however is that it sometimes takes hits away from you that should have hit.
And yes @gibblywibblywoo,that has happened quite often to me and sometimes even made me lose a chase.
It's very annoying
They're adamant it isn't auto aim though. That's the annoying thing. It can actively work against you.
Can we get an 'aim dressing off' experiment for a day or two?
I would be really curious to see the results
