Where are the more evil killers?
For all the original killers all of them are pretty much just murders or crazy. I understand why they can't put Nazis or Klan members in the game, but pedophiles, rapists, terrorists, ect..., aren't in the lore or motivations of any of the original killers. Why are the devs holding out from the more dark aspects of horror.

Sorry to bump in but In my head canon, I'd imagined Clown would torture them and leave scars upon the body. If his victims showed resistance he would grab their hand and slice off all their fingers as punishment.
Possibly, but he hasn't gotten any tome lore so all we know is that he used it solely to help him kidnap people.
We were supposed to get lore for him in Tome 5 but they changed it to advertise the god forsaken event called the 2020 Blight event
Seeing as the devs have explicitly said that they won't be adding Jeepers Creepers due to specific allegations against his creator, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that the devs want to steer clear of specific types of evil in this game.

Because the entity is looking for killers, not pedophiles, rapists or terrorists. It is searching for those for whom murder has become ordinary, even without cause, or for whom murder is the cause itself.
What's a pedophile going to do in DBD? None of the survivors are underage. And if she kills to cover up her crime, what's she going to do in a realm where no one can report her, or expose her secret?
That's not true, the devs want to stay away from killers who aren't humanoid in stature, how would a spider killer work when:
A) They wouldn't be able to see over certain loops
B) They would probably be too big to fit through certain gaps
I don't think we need more outright monsters. The original killers in DbD are a little like the ghosts in Thirteen Ghosts: People from all walks of life that have something someone wants to exploit for their own gain.
