Add ScrewDrivers To Allow The Use of Decisive Strike

Decisive Strike should require the player to be holding a screwdriver to jab the killer with.

This will render decisive strike users immune to dropping the screwdriver if the killer is using franklin’s demise.

Screwdrivers can be obtained by holding the primary action key when holding a toolbox, as if using self heal, an animation will begin, and upon finishing, the toolbox is destroyed by the entity, and the survivor obtains a screwdriver in return.

It can also be obtained by using up the toolbox on generators and hooks.

Another way of obtaining it is by having them spawn 5 meters from them when they are downed, and will cast a bright reflection, the survivor must crawl to it in time before they are picked up by the killer.

And the last possible way this could be implemented, is by having them spawn in chests.

What do ya’ll think?

  • Hrmmmm interesting id say use the toolbox sacrifice thing for it hence high risk high reward and finding it in a chest for non toolbox carriers
  • Honestly, I'd love to tie an item to a perk.

    Make it an ultra-rare item.

What I'm summarizing from the OP:

Allow Decisive Strike to be used as a "killers grasp escape" when this blade is equipped.

Here's the catch: Decsivie should work as a stun only if unequipped. This will allow Killers to know who has the DS or not inlobby.

Eh, well that's one fix. I think hopefully they're still exploring other options, but this one is a cool one you put out on the table @DarkWo1f997

  • Hrmmmmm and could extend the stub time on the killer as they have to remove whatever is in them if it's tier one lose your item but only the obsessions item is immune to Franklin tier two screwdriver adding a extra 3 seconds tier 3 extra 5 seconds from a knife
  • so you want to basically not change it at all and extend the stun timer? @redsopine1

  • Well think about it this way you would have to sacrifice a item for their one and 2 and tier 3 you would.have to go into the basement to get the knife which the killers would start running Ti to counter the knife users as you cant use a knife with a item
  • No.
The thought of a survivor stabbing my beloved Wraith with a screwdriver hurts my heart.
    (Although it's not a bad suggestion gameplay-wise.)
