Let's just hope they don't take the easy way and simply shorten Dream Transition, but make waking up harder instead. I'd want survivors to be forced to actually do gens while asleep. If they just reduce Dream Transition, they'll just make Freddy more like the other killers.
They mentioned before they want Freddy to get stronger the more people are asleep. So what I would like is for those effects to be strong enough that people actually fear getting put into the dream world. This and stopping Self Care from waking up survivors.

Remake Freddy will still be Remake Freddy and that makes him 2nd tier to Myers and Leatherface.
