Question about Survivors in MMR
Right now, it's obvious that killers get a specific MMR, but what about survivors?
Will survivors with 50 wins in a row encounter a killer with 50 wins in a row even if they never played against that specific killer. Or is their MMR based on specific killers they face? Meaning, if they do very well against 50 Huntresses but are terrible against Hag, would they encounter a Hag that is on a similar skill level with the Huntress even though Huntress and Hag have very different playstyles and counters?
Essentially, do survivors have specific MMR against each single killer or do they have a general MMR and could face Scorpionz as Pig even though they never played against a Pig before because they happen to have faced and won against 500 Trappers in a row?

Survivors MMR is standard and no it's not against specific killers. So yeah they could face Josh as Piggy and not have played against a pig before...the match is pretty much ultimately the same for survivors from that point of view, and the survivors he's facing should not be anywhere near new due to the fact he's got 10k hours and is a very, very good killer.
I mean true, in this specific case, but my point was more that IMO it would be kinda weird if 90% of my games are against killers with completely different mechanics from another killer to the point of me having 0 experience against that killer, leading me to be utterly destroyed simply due to not having enough time in a single match to find out what is smarter to do.
For example, facing Spirits, you end up learning that dropping pallets really early while she is phasing is quite effective, yet dropping pallets early against most other killers will end up in a very different match.
When I play certain killers that are quite uncommon, I wouldnt really enjoy constantly playing against survivors that have not much experience in facing the killer I play. It would be fun every once in a while sure, as facing people who are amazing against your killer 100% of the time isnt exactly fun either, but there are certain killers I play daily that are considered uncommon.
This is why I personally think that besides a generic survivor MMR, it might be wise to add a killer specific MMR to survivors aswell, while a generic killer MMR might help there too(aka, when a new killer gets released, the combined MMR ends up experienced killers facing experienced enough survivors who both have no clue how the new killer works). Meaning you dont end up facing god-tier specific killers that you dont really learn to counter because you happen to face killers you're already good against, while still facing averagely stronger killers.
I get that on the long run, it might not make enough difference to be worth the additional effort. I just feel like anytime a new killer would be released, you end up having extremely experienced killers end up facing new survivors to the point that they dont learn to hone their specific skills because the survivors they face have not enough experience facing killers in general.
Which is still better than being forced to face very experienced survivors when you want to try out a new killer to the point of having no time at all to learn that killer, but having no oppertunity to really learn the killer untill you're already 50 hours in isnt that amazing either. To me, this is choosing between 2 frustration inducing extremes when there is a middle ground available.
