why was my discussion closed?
if this is not something that should be happening in the game, why was my discussion closed? I find it pretty rude and actually offensive. If you want me to stop investing in your game and/or leave this forum - just say it.

Because it's acknowledged and there is no reason to discuss. It's not game breaking bug, only visual for you as Survivor and they need to work on many other bugs and Mid-chapter.
Don't take this as offensive and rude act from mods.
@maaadinsomniac How do you know it is acknowledged if it was not marked acknowledged? Normally there is a marking saying, "pending", "need more info", "acknowledged", etc. I do not see a marking which is why it feels offensive.
Because it's reported 2000 times since December 2020, same as totem spawn on Coldwind farm, all basement challenges, all stuff with Swamp maps as trees and no interaction with gen, another gen glitch where's no interaction to pick up survivor etc..
Mods here have a lot of work to do and tbh I'll not have time to mark every thread as "Duplicite" or "Acknowledged" as Mod in bug reports, when people can't read or looks for their problem before they made new thread about same thing. All of these same bugs are reported like 10 times per day.

This discussion was closed because the interaction you pointed out is actually not a bug. You can see it if you open thread list in Bug reporting section.
It seemed to have been moved from another section into the bug reporting section which doesn't allow the thread to use the ideation system we use, thus it gets closed. For your thread to use the ideation system, you need to actually create it in the correct sub-forum, which in this case is Bug Reporting.
