Idea to prevent the killer from camping

My idea to prevent the killer for camping would be to set a perimeter (15 meter for example) around the survivor he just hooked and if the killer stays in this perimeter for more than 5 seconds for example, he runs slower (for a couple of seconds) or the life of the survivor doesnt go down.

The idea is to give a chance to the survivors to be unhooked so at least they can escape.

  • 15 meters seems a bit excessive imo, that and there are no conditionals. If I'm leaving but then a survivor gets found and we run around within 15 meters of the hook, now I lose the chase and I wasn't even trying to camp. If I break a pallet and kick a gen, that'll take me too long and I'll be slowed down.

If I may offer a solution: Killers within 15 meters of the hook, slow the hook progression timer. It could be instantaneous, as soon as the killer enters the radius, boom, progression slows. Set it up right and you could make it so that killers only walk away with one kill if they face or proxy camp.

I think that would work better than accidentally punishing killers that legitimately play the game but end up accidentally working in the area.

Yo dude how bout this, if killers within 10 meters of a hooked survivor for more than 10 or 15 seconds all survivors get a 25% action boost in order to get things moving and into the next game. originally the idea was 5 meters, but killers could walk outside of that to deny this mechanic.

or like someone said about just slow the rate the entity grows.

  • but nun of this needs to work in basement

  • How about you just work harder on your looping, and your pals work harder on tactics to rescue you? :)

  • 15 meters is a bit excessive, i'd make it 5-10 meters. Its not about working harder on looping and tactics, when getting camped its very common when unhooked the killer tunnels you. This is extremely unfair as it causes us survivors to then depip due to the ######### tactics which are used so frequently. I think killers should LOSE bloodpoints when camping or they stop increasing. I agree something needs to be done about it though, ruins the game for others.

  • The "F" in facecamp stands for fun

The F in facecamp stands for ######### Off. No its not fun for the survivors.

They'll not take camping out of the game because you will get slugged on the floor and left dead on the floor instead. We don't have to worry about BT or DS or anything if your slugged and left to die on the floor.

If the killer is camping do a gen.
