DBD isn't strictly survivor/killer sided.
Something that alot of people in this forum don't understand is that there will be moments where the game will be survivor or killer sided, the game isn't strictly survivor favored or killer favored.
For example, if your in a match playing as clown while your going up against a 4 man SWF on Haddon, then the game is going to be very survivor sided, however this goes the other way around as well. For example if you and your teammates are all solo queuers going up against a god nurse or spirit with strong addons on shelter woods, then the game is going to be very killer sided.
I have 1300 hours in the game and I just don't understand how some people can still say "The game is survivor/killer sided!" Most examples people give just don't work, like how some people say "If survivors play perfectly then they will always win against the killer!!" First of all, its just impossible to not make a single mistake in a match and even then there's wayyy to many variables to account for, like what map are they played on? How good were the loops for the survivors? And many other variables too.
Another example people use to show how the game is "survivor sided" is by mentioning how many 2nd chance perks survivors have. Even though survivors have access to these 2nd chance perks ive found that personally in most of my matches as a survivor I rarely will ever use one of them, let alone all of the 2nd chance perks I have equipped and as a killer i rarely if ever get hit by D strike and usually whenever I do get hit by it I do it on purpose or it just doesn't affect me that much other than annoying me. Plus, most of them can just be countered, like with UB if you know they have it you can purposely slug them to get them to waste it. Even if they're able to get up with it, it still means that they used it up and wasted time on the ground, this can also be a counter against DS + UB.
I'm too lazy to write about how the game isn't killer favored, but usually most people i see who say this are newer players to the game so once they get more hours they'll realize that they were wrong.
Does anyone else agree with me, or am I just the only one who thinks this way?

Yeah, I agree for the most part.
It's usually pretty balanced until the bigger, sweater SWFs come into play-- and I say sweatier 'cause a lot of SWFs are just dudes playing with their friends, they're usually pretty bad at the game.
A lot of the people who yell that the game's killer/survivor sided impress me with how unbelievably oppressed someone can feel over a videogame.
Imo this game is balanced rn. Sure some perks and add ons are too strong but maps are pretty balanced and all killers are viable in read ranks
Yes, all killers are viable at red ranks. That’s why many killers are overpowered like pay to win Freddy or spirit
This game is rng sided. Wraith is a weak killer but if you play as him on hawkins its gg. Nurse is one of the strongest killers but if you play as her on hawkins or lerys goodluck.
You play vs an equally skilled killer, the map is wretched shop, same loops, same set up and the map is almost identical. One time god bus will spawn the other won't, a minimal difference like this can change the result a lot even tho it's just 1 loop or not.
If shack window is facing towards the middle of the map or not can make a lot of difference in the game's result.
There are so many rng variables in this game that matter way more than anything, so when someone says the game is x sided he's probably quite inexperienced or just disingenous
