Myers Killing Animation Oddity

I was using a naughty Myers load out to kill healthy or injured survivors. Had a rough game but I caught a Dwight right at the exit past the gate. Animation started. At some point early in after raising him, he disappeared from Myers’ hand. His survivor icon at the bottom changed to escaped. When the animation was over I got the kill bonus. Not a big deal. We both got what we wanted but it’s pretty funny. Anyone else have this happen?
