Because you still DCed and the system can not differentiate between a DC because you are getting sandbagged and a DC because you are salty.
Because there's effectively no difference between you quitting because you're being sandbagged or rage quitting cause you got downed first.
For cases like this, don't DC, die on first hook then report the players in the post game screen.
