Devs are bad at programming and designing a good ranking and matchmaking system.
Devs are not prioritizing ranking and matchmaking.

The Match Making sucks in this game. Sadly your the minority(killer) and the game will throw you to the wolves(survivors) just so they can have a match. Your fun be damned.
From my understanding, bear in mind I can be totally wrong, MM works like this. It at first tries to find people of similar rank. If it can't find any it starts to look further from your rank. Wait long enough and it will forget rank all together and toss the first thing available so you have a game.
Then what's the point of having ranks if anyone from any rank can be matched up against them?
Seems counter intuitive to me.
If you are a noob and your rank represents it, then isn't it only reasonable to put me against other noobs?
The devs should implement a system where if there are no people around: A) Wait till someone comes or B) Tell them nobody's around and make them stop searching.
It’s why I and many others are frustrated with the devs. It just seems like they’re sitting on their hands when it comes to matchmaking.
Its their matchmaking system working as intended.
