Not free for people that lost Shards buying the outfits before they discounted them by 60% less then two days later. They're still at a net loss.
Nor does it make up for the people that lost $10 worth of Auric Cells buying Felix's outfit before it became available for Shards, again, less then two days later.
Yeah, it would be nice to have more. I was able to get something else with the thousands of shards I already had saved though.
Erm, well its disappointing yes.
Although this is very similar to nothing really, they just demonstrated they can input daily rewards quicker then they can copy and paste the other Blight events.
So until they give back the original event and extend the event for however much time has pasted in the original event AT LEAST, then no, this is not better then nothing, its just damage control.
Here's the thing.
-The Dwight crow charm is a little unfair and i've heard tons of people complaining that.
The Event is lackluster and kind of a disappointment but it was okay i suppose. It got really bad with the band-aid fix of the shards+bps that gave a big old sucker punch to those who bought the outfits prior to the sale (that sale was not announced anywhere and no other outfits have gone on sale this soon after release).
PS4 is having issues also which cause problems with them actually playing the event.
And lastly this is a horror game and people expect a massive event for Halloween because of it. I had no huge expectations but i was one of those people who have to eat the loss of shards because of the sale on the new outfits.
with Halloween currency we could get 3 to 6 cosmetics worth 21600 to 43200 shards and it could be used on any previous Halloween cosmetic.
now we get 13k shards for 4 cosmetics of only the 6 outfits released this year and there are only two killer skins. sure there is a big sale but we all know that people will still pay 10$ and just get an extra outfit too which is what the devs wanted and its why the Halloween skins are at different sale prices so people can only get 1.
there is also the excusive BS charm when the devs said they didn't like exclusives and took away the ones that took HOURS to grind which i had all of them.
