Deep Wound fix, when?
I just want to say that the Deep Wound status effect isn't what it used to be, even for BT.
The fact that there's not much reward for mending and that the effect is hardly anything to worry about makes me just ask why it even exists if it's so simple to get rid of and so unrewarding.
My suggestion is any time a survivor has the effect and loses a chase with the killer, (even if they're sprinting) the timer should regress. The deep wound effect should act more like the dying state for survivors except the survivor effected by it has a little more control over it than while they're in the dying state.
While mending as well, the timer should regress at a normal rate but if the timer runs out and the survivor is still mending then they can be allowed to finish it - however the best way to counter it at this point is to getting in a chase with the killer or complete the mending.
Whenever I apply deep wound to survivors as legion or if I apply it when they have BT, I feel there is truly no real risk for the survivor and I feel like logically there should be a really high risk for the effect and for the effect to be an actual danger that needs to be tended too.
But as a way so it's not completely killer sided with this as well, the survivors for completely mending themselves or other survivors should give the survivors and bountiful reward of around 800 or 1000 bp due to the high risk of dying from the effect.
I just want there to be a little more risk and reward in the game. It's what makes things a little more interesting.

This is how deep wound used to work (iirc) and it caused a lot of problems. Killers could just equip a perk like bloodhound to follow injured survivors and moonwalk to proxychase them. The killer would still be chasing the survivor but the game wouldn't register a chase, making the Deep Wound timer regress. The survivor couldn't stop to mend or they would be downed by the killer. Once the deep wound timer hit zero, they'd be downed anyway. The survivors really couldn't do anything against this if the killer decided to use this tactic.
Deep wound (in it's current state) isn't supposed to be threatening. It's mostly a time waster.... Weak one, but a time waster.
