Using a Sacrificial Ward is like playing the lottery

9/10 times there's no map offering anyway, so it's completely wasted.

Why would I ever use this over a bloodpoint offering? Or a map offering of my own? Or a Mori? It just doesn't make sense.

And even if you manage to get lucky and cancel a map offering, guess what? You can still get the map they wanted due to RNG. It's just a waste of 5000 bloodpoints.

  • Exactly. It also is an Offering that only makes sense for Killers since they can prepare. If they see an SWF, they might want to burn one of those in case of a Haddonfield or Ormond-Offering, but for Survivors, it does not make sense.

Also, it is way too expensive and rare, it should be a brown Offering for 3k BPs, this way you would be able to burn it way more often. But like OP said, you can better bring a Map Offering, this would be a 50/50 chance to end on the Map you want, but it is better than for example cancelling an Ormond-Offering to get Haddonfield afterwards.

IMO this thing should be removed, but it is gonna stay, because the Devs wanted to bring new Offerings, even tho none of those actually makes sense.

  • Ive had a bit of use out of them, like when a 4 man swf joins and Im 90% sure that one of them is gonna bring a map offering I can throw on a sac ward and avoid it, and when im in a swf and they threaten me with a jigsaw piece as a joke and I can avoid it with a sac ward its kinda fun but it is really not a great offering.
