Question for the Community
In one year what state would you see this game in.
I am curious since it's like a competitive horror game but wonder will it achieve maximum Terror.
What do you think will be added and who will be added.
I love this game but wonder if there will be more stuff in the game besides doing gens, totems, hooking, or hunting survivors in the far future.
Like maybe for each different killer the survivors will have to find items to do a ritual and banished from the game. Each killer will have a different win and lose cutscene. Anytime the ritual is done wrong either by wrong items or wrong order the Killer will become more enraged causing more pressure.
[When I mean banished I mean game over for killer and the match ends]
Survival which is the Survivors have to survive not escape by rebuilding the safe house until The Entity says its game over. They have to be careful since the killer can find ways to lure them out or get in the house but survivors can use items around the house to defend them selves until the match is done or lure it out of the house for even fighting ground but now the killer can get in and out of the house so the safe place now is in the forest.
Past Memories of a Killer.
Play as a killer and relearn their awful past by hunting the victims that fell to the killer in the past. This will be more of a Story Mode because why not and the Victims are bots since they will be killed no matter what but will not be easy.
What do you think will be added or changed in a year?

This game will not become more scary. I'm 100% certain it'll flanderize. That's not bad, but once you play the game for a while the scare factor dies. The only way to increase the scary is to make the maps themselves scary and the closest the game does to that right now is the Midwich locker. While fun, until walking into a piece of furniture causes plates to fall out of it and start smashing as they hit the floor or maguffins getting knocked loose from a powering generator I don't know what they could do.
I'm going to say 2 licensed killers and 2 original killers. The Licensed ones will be lukewarm, and the 2 original killers will be designed for the game and be nasty strong. At least, until the community learns the counters of course.
They tried pustula flowers for a while. I enjoyed that a lot. I don't think they'll make the killer killable in this game. As much as I would love to do so sometimes, it would be kind of out of place since it's the Entity using a lot of them as a puppet. Oh no you killed my puppet. Nah.
I like single player mode, like an expanded tutorial. The game's pretty big now and just having a peaceful place to learn your killer or master skill checks would be kinda nifty.
As for what I personally think will change...well. The maps. I have a lot of maps memorized (to a degree) so the map shake up has the potential to be pretty brutal.
Got lot off good feedback but did not mean kill the killer but more like.......a reverse summon ritual for the banish part. Like Killer has to stop survivors from collecting certain stuff to do the ritual like hook 3 times or whats the new hook replacer or maybe some way to make a fake copy which can mess up the ritual if they do not pay close attention to what they pick it up.
Its like the Tattletail ritual from the Tattletail video game if you ever heard of it but instead here it has a twist.
It wont perma banish the killer but its more of a temporary solution to the Survivors which now they can escape back to the campfire. Its like the gens but bit more sinister. Although banishing is more like the original matches since once you escape the gates you dont really win the game you just return to the campfire so when the Killer is banished they just go back where they were before the match began kinda like a spawn point when you die in other games. Mostly to test "The Puppet's" ability to actually survive and win if the survivors had a way to banish the killer instead of escaping but it's not a real banish ritual rather then a gimic to survivors so they think they have the power to banish the killer but turns out its just a temporary effect so they will have to do it again and again.
Would like a better tutorial that is like a real match but with bots and difficulty settings which can also teach you other things like mindgaming or looping. Also would be cool to have a little single player to relive some of the characters memory's but mostly the ones made by the devs.
My question for you is what section did you put this under to post in the general discussions tab?
Well supposed to be in Ask the Community but for some reason my browser set it to General which is sorta normal because it sometimes bugs out if its a select option and picks the wrong one.
I'm still holding out hope for training mode to come to main game. The fact that the Devs said they're not even working on it is very sad. Hopefully that changes soon.
Hopefully, in a year the Devs will have put their foot down and forced the community to accept that this isn't a competitive game, thus getting rid of the sweaty SWF's and tryhard killers that like to pretend they accomplished something after steamrolling 10 opponents in a row that weren't trying to do the same. Then we can have some actually fun things in trials.
But in all likelihood they're going to lean into the false competition for that sweet, sweet eSports cash. I liked the atmosphere of the Into The Fog "tournament" but I doubt they will ever repeat it with such overt "this game isn't balanced so let's have some fun!" themes.
Yeah true, only say competitive since its multiplayer not the Try Hard version. I would like to see something like a mode that 1 person can play and not 4 or 5 so people wont get sick of the same thing but not something big. Would like to have game modes that are more like survive the horror since this is the only game really to have so many horror characters so would be perfect for a survival mode.
