The title confuses me when I see it.
Are you asking why did you rank up to rank 10 after being paired against SWF groups?
or
Are you asking why are you, a rank 10 player, being paired up constantly with SWF groups?
The first one - because ranks are arbitrary and easy to gradually gain even if you aren't really 'trying' too hard; and are not good indicators at all of 'skill', just playstyle.
The second one - because there isn't enough active players to place you in games with ranks around you constantly; and the majority of survivors play with their friends and there isn't any way to tell matchmaking to not pair you against SWF groups.
SWF's are teams of highly skilled players. Matchmaking is pretty messed up if it's putting rank 10's consistently against super pros
My friends and I are far from being considered 'highly skilled'; but if the two/three/four (depending on who is playing) of us play together we're still considered a SWF group.
And...... ?
