Thank you for changing the search chest interaction.
It used to be so annoying if you heard the killer nearby while searching, and you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t in regards to either fully commit even though the killer can hear you, or slam it shut and tell the killer where you are anyway.
Thank you for getting rid of this annoyance with the updated chests.

I admit it's nice instantly seeing an item now.
Was probably causing issues with its extended animations as well.
Love the animation
I just like that I can let go midway through searching and it doesn’t give the killer a noise/location notification anymore.
