yah i see it, 98% what i have matches the gates are so close together,, so little that they are far from each other and therefore fair for both sides...

most time you see only right 1 gate and the other gate is left side, ez for killer, i play killer and surviver, see so often this kind, its so unfair for surviver

    If the gates are too far apart then its unfair for the killer. Gate RNG is probably the fairest way to handle this. If there is more than one survivor left when the gates are powered, you try to open both doors at the same time, then you run when the killer gets too close. When the killer goes to the other door to stop it, return to your door. Repeat as needed.


    Unless its the right killer or they have NOED, you'll be fine.

    I see more matches where the gates are far enough that it's essentially a free escape for the survivor unless they play bad than I do close gates.

    I'd even make an argument that having them close every time would be fair given you got in that scenario from losing the match already in the first place...and you already had a second chance at making hatch and missed it.

    The whole hatch/gate powering after hatch close mechanic is already way more in favor of survivors than it even should be, much less to complain about it as you are.

    RNG would suggest that even killers like Hillbilly/Spirit/Nurse, portal killers, trap killers would provide an equal chance even if the gates were far, which they do not.
