Give Dying Survivors the Ability to "concede" but leave a husk behind
This is mainly a solution for people slugging just to be toxic (game is already over and there is nothing the survivor can do and the killer is just wasting their time) or people slugging for the 4k without actually punishing the killer in any way.
Basically it would allow the survivor to "DC" from the game, they keep points they had and it counts as a death, but the survivors body remains in the trial as an empty AFK husk. It will still bleeedout/or die from being hooked as normal but this allows the killer to slug for the 4k all they want without wasting the condemned survivors time and without getting screwed over.
Alternatively give dying survivors the ability to accelerate their bleedout out timer by holding m2 while in the dying state. This would make them bleed out faster but still not instant to waste less of their time, but the first solution is more ideal.

No, don't legalize DCing.
Of course there would need to be restrictions such as be in the dying state for X number of seconds and there can only be 1 or less other living survivor. That way people can't use it to rage quit, but in the scenario its made for it makes no difference, the person on the ground is going to die anyways, why does it matter.
On a related note I’m hoping they bring over the bots from the mobile version that take over for disconnected players. Supposedly the bots do a pretty good job filling in and nobody likes playing a game after a ragequit leaves it shorthanded.
The husk idea seems best, as we all know there are legitimate reasons to slug survivors. It would also stop a killer losing their 4K legitimately when someone DC's to give a fellow survivor the hatch. I also like the dying state changes the OP suggests in this thread: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/181442/ubreakable-and-pop-need-the-brutal-strength-treatment#latest
What if they also granted 1-3 survival bloodpoint(s) for each second spent in the dying state? It's not a great deal of points, but offers something for waiting around. You never know what can happen, with perks such as Unbreakable.
