Hells no, broken keys are not very useful and on top of that they show as a normal key on your hand, painting a target the size of the Everest on your back.
Wedding ring is not that great for purple rarity. Plus what @HectorBrando said about getting the tunnel treatment for an item that doesn't even open the hatch.
No sane person would use a broken key since killer would (reasonably) target them first since keys are a ######### and you need addons to make it worth anything.
Wedding Ring is like...tolerable but it's not very rare quality.
