Changes to Solo queue

Balancing the game would be much better if you only had to balance it around SWF right? So if that’s the case why not bring solo queue up to SWF level with some changes:

  1. Solo queue survivors get a Kindred and Bond Basekit(these perks could be changed)
  2. Solo queue could have a little totem counter in the corner showing how many totems are left(this would have to be dont with them improving totem spots on old maps... coughs disturbed ward
  3. Solo queue survivor get a notification when a chase starts and ends. This would give them awareness

Imo these three changes could buff Solo queue a lots, stats could be all around SWF level and they could do all the balancing from there. We could also see more true stats like survival rates(would go up) and we could see more true stats and devs could balance off that.

Let me know your thoughts on these ideas(and your ideas as well)

  • I dislike the idea, because the game is based on a lack of information, and i enjoy that kind of playstyle. Your idea forces information on me, and take away the tension of the game.

I mean, i know i am save because i always know if the killer is in another hase. I always know if noed might come into effect or not beforehand. I also know where all the other surivors are, and have a lot of information of the state of the game.

While it would certainly make survivors more effective, it would change the game fundamentaly, and not all might like that.

Its still better to seperate solo from swf, and balance both modes seperatly.

  • It might help some players but solo wouldnt be on par with swf. With SWF there’s a desire for a team victory, and everybody works together to help their friends.

With solo...well we’ve all been there dead on 1st hook even though you brought Kindred.

Or earlier today I played survivor and I took Bond and one survivor is doing nothing but running in circles, moonwalking and then fast vaulting near the survivors working on gens to bring the killer over.

The information survivors are given is only as useful as the survivors receiving it. At the moment the game is plagued by trolls and meme kids in solo queue.

But it would help, it wouldn’t render solo survivors completely useless. Maybe a bp bonus in certain categorize like altruism and objectives(2x) and this could come with no cap in each bp catergory but a cap of 32k still. Ik this would provoke me to be more team spirited

  • Add to the HUD, know when someone is healing, being chased, doing a gen etc - all things SWF know freely

    thats all

But they aren’t both mode if they play in the same mode, there is one mode and SWF and solo share it so that means they are skewing the stats and something need to happen to put all casual cruciform on the same level

  • Thats what i mean with different balancing for both modes. Sure, if you do an swf mode, solo players might chime in, and they might need those boosts, as does the killer then.

but in the solo mode, the killer could be balanced different, because the survivor don´t have perfekt information.

Very few killers would play in the SWF mode, I guarantee that separate mode for them would never work
