Unique Exhaustion Perk Idea

Keep Your Enemies Closer

Your distrust motivates you. When in chase, gain a haste status equal to the Killer's movement speed.

Once chase is broken. Causes the Exhausted effect for 60/50/40 seconds.

Keep Your Enemies Closer cannot be used while Exhausted.

"They say keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Honestly, I'd prefer to keep both far away"

  • That is too easy to counter for experienced players, and too difficult for newbie players.

  • A better idea would be:

Press the Activate ability button to activate, once activated, this perk grants you 7% movement speed for 20 seconds. Causes exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds.

  • Does it last only for 3 seconds like any other exhaustion perk? Or does it last for the whole chase? Because if it is the second option that would be kinda broken.

  • That's like Sprint Burst, but worse. If you are using this against the Nurse you auto-lose.

The idea behind the perk is that you can infinite Killers with this exhaustion perk until they realize and purposely break chase (which makes them lose all progress towards bloodlust).

Even once the Killers know you have the perk. You get 3-5 seconds of 10-15% haste head start because they have to break chase, which takes a couple seconds. It'd be one of the most subtle and potentially devastating exhaustion perks

  • This lasts for the entire chase? I think that's too long and could be hell for newer players.

It works similarly to Play with Your Food from the Killer's perspective. They would want to start a chase and then break it quickly to counterplay

  • This would be insanely broken

New Killers won't understand that though. They'll be frustrated at how one Survivor is running so fast. Experienced Killers will be able to easily counter this by just quickly breaking the chase. You won't really get to use this perk very much. This perk will also have the same problem that DS and BT have of being OP during the endgame.
