A quick addition which may help balance the perk in order to make it more useful:

  • When you hook your obsession, the perk activates for 60 seconds.
  • While the perk is active, all generators being repaired will be blocked off if repairs are interrupted.
  • While a generator is blocked off, it regresses at a speed of 25/50/75%. While blocked by Dead Man's Switch, nothing can alter the regression rate of the generator.
  • While active, the survivor who triggered the perk gains the Endurance status effect.

Here's what this adjustment would be intended to accomplish:

1) More use of the perk with an increased time added to it.

2) Balancing the speed of ruin's regression with the 60 activation period.

3) Avoid tunneling obsession off hook with the endurance status effect (may be too much, something to help though)

4) More use of the perk with an extra bonus: Self-regressing gens when blocked.
