360ing is only partially counterable

I've definitely been getting 360d less often since I turn as I hit to compensate. But for some killers, that's not enough. When using Oni's or Demogorgon's or Huntress's power, survivors can pretty much run inside your model and not get hit. It's far harder to hit than with just a normal attack. And missing with your ability is far more punishing than missing with a normal attack. You could argue "just don't use your power then!" but a killer who can't use their ability is doomed to fail. Doing your best in loops isn't enough to win. You need your ability. You also need to land regular hits, which 360ing makes more difficult. I'll try to 'git gud' and play around the abuse of controls that 360ing is, so please reply with something original instead. 360ing a problem that I think can be addressed, or we can leave well enough alone as usual. Leave your suggestions.

  • Why do you even use a m2 if theyre 1mm away? Also talking about Oni and Huntress they have the most ridiculous hitboxes in game. 360s arent any issue.

Maybe not to you, but to me and many others. They may not vocalize it, but they exist.

  • Well, if a survivor is in my m1 range, why wouldn't i go for it? Just wind down your hatchet and get the m1. It's so easy to counter a 360, wait it off, most of the times they don't spin more than 2 times. You can always back off a bit and they will just look ridiculous spinning in front of you since while they are doing the 360 they don't really have such visibility and awarness of where the killer is. Hell, if they just start spinning, you can stay still and they will end up in front of you

  • Use an M1 if they're that close as Oni/Huntress. No need to use the power.

Walking backwards helps too so they walk into your swing instead of you swinging into their Bait (this is a trick used by console gamers).

-a 15fps player who gets 360ed too much for it to be funny anymore.

You do realize auto aim is in the game right? there are times killers get rewarded when a survivor is completely out of the hit cone.

Before someone tries to say its aim dressing thats complete bs and we both know that come get real the fact a survivor can be standing behind a killer and the killer swings at the opposite direction then you and it magically turns him toward you that's auto aim the devs can continue to claim its not but until they can explain how something like that is happening its either auto aim or a hit cone issue.

  • Don’t try to m2 if they run at you. If they run at you, step back and M1. They’re trying to get in your head and make you miss.

I understand having a problem with 360. What I do is step back and swing while turning in the direction they’re doing the 360. You don’t even have to have your sights on them, it will still usually land a hit on them because hit boxes are insanely broken in this game.

Give up on the M2 if it isn’t working out and someone clearly knows how to avoid it. Take any and every opportunity to land an M1.

With Huntress, using a hatchet point blank has less recovery time than a standard M1, so you catch up to the survivor sooner. It's what good Huntress players will do.

  • Calling it an "abuse of controls" is a bit of a stretch when it's literally completely countered by waiting for them to stop spinning. There's nothing abusive going on it's literally just spinning a model lmao.

  • On console their only counter is praying because of performance issues. Also auto-aim can screw you over.

To save STBFL stacks, mainly as Demogorgon.

  • 360s are only to become easier for survivors in the future. With the upcoming serverside hit detection, the killer needs to predict the future to counter a 360s.
