How to balance a bit SWF

Now all killers have two modes:

Patrol mode: Killer movement speed becomes 130% (could be less or more according balance). Killers are on this mode while they arent on chase.

Chase mode:Killers will have the same speed as now.

Why killers go slower on chase mode? Cuz thry have to please entity so p"laying with their food" would amuze The Entity.

It would make killers to be able to have more presence in map.

Comments

  • Absolutely not. Look up what the Legion moonwalking exploit was.

  • No. Futile. Killers can prevent themselves from entering a chase. So when balancing chase effects, do it with the assumption that the Killer will do whatever he's doing but not in a chase if a chase is worse than not being in a chase.

  • Also this has nothing to do with SWF

The way you fix SWF is by giving solos more information. They should just make things like bond/kindred and a few other information perks baseline. Give survivors a totem counter. Then balance the game around that information. You can't nerf SWF. The best way to do it is to buff solos and then buff killers to compensate.

  • That could never work.

Yes! I agree with you completely, honestly, been saying it all the time but nobody listens.
