Spinechill is a double edge sword.

spinechill made myself a worse player. Why? i literally got used to the perk so much that i dont even pay attention anymore to my surroundings, is such a chill experience specially early game because i know if the killer is walking to me or not, it literally deletes the "early fear" of will the killer come to me? also i dont know if my ears also started liking the chill experience aswell cause sometimes i dont even notice when the killer is very close to me when i dont use spinechill. i say this as a rank 1 survivor, i wasnt like this before of trying spinechill.. i used to pay attention way more.

also the 6% is nice for vaulting and doing gens in frotn of the killer also is good agaisnt spirit and stealth killers in general but still.

thats my story thanks for reading. use spinechill with caution lol

You made yourself a worse player. Spine chill doesn't prevent you in any way from paying attention to your surroundings.

  • never take it off. No more problem

the thing is why would i pay attention way more like turning the camera all the time to see every door as i still do (kinda) if a perk will light up doing that for me. thats the problem with the perk apart from actually being good for chases.

  • If anything it just makes me paranoid when I'm not running it. I'm spinning my camera around like a dreidel.

exactly what i sayed above lool. i mean it makes the game so easier and is not even an impressive second chance perk who everyone wants to get it nerfed. is probably the best non techeable survivor perk.

Because spine chill can be countered, although it's not common. It's a very handy perk, but it's not a substitute for your eyes and ears.

yes i know that some piggys look to the other side when they go to a certain gen while crouching and the same goes to certain stealthy killers but realistically how often do u see that?. because is not even that optimal to do 99% of the tiem works as intended.

anyway i just wanted to share my experience to the new players that are thinking about using this perk, probably they should play the game without using it and then decide once they become better players because this perk eliminates an esential part of the game and getting used to this from the vey beggining could go wrong because this is not what the game is and how the intercations with the killer normally works... u can really get adicted to this perk and once you tasted it is hard to let it go.
