Spine chill defeats the purpose of stealth killers
Title says it.
I'm sorry but this is super frustrating in the red ranks.
So, you get a warning when hes within 36 meters and looking directly at you
This is just a direct counter to the pig, ghostface, and mikey at some degree (but mainly the pig and ghostface here). The element of surprise is just completely gone
Now within 36 meters survivors get the notification, so they know you're nearby.
Some may argue (but hey it only happens when they look at you!!1!1), but this is exactly the point, if you're a stealth killer sneaking up to someone, where else are you gonna look?
Stealth Killers shouldn't be forced to look at the ground or away from the target they approach. Survivors will just say "moonwalk" but that doesnt work..you'll waste time, bump into things, cant path properly, it's just a lazy excuse. Not to mention that ghostface is actually helpless in that case.
And even if you're not sneaking up to someone, you're bound to be looking in all directions to look out for survivors and at 1 point you'll look in the direction of the survivor without you knowing but now they know you're near, and spotting a stealth killer while being cautious on most maps isn't too hard, especially in the red ranks.
My point is, sneaking up to people and successfully getting a hit from stealth is just impossible if the survivor properly utilizes spine chill. And you just turn into a basic m1 killer against him/her.
So, what do I think can be done?
Set spine chill to not work within "36 meters", but rather as a percentage of the killers terror radius distance.
125% sounds more than fair (you get notified by the average 32m terror radius killer at a distance of 40m).
Feel free to suggest what can also be done below
