*SPOILERS* Dwight Tomb III Archive Cutscene Confusion/Flaw?
So.. Did BHVR literally just up and Uno-Reverse Dwight's backstory?.. His backstory literally says his Boss drugs him and leaves him in the woods, but in the cutscene they have Dwight drugging his boss and making him go crazy? This can't be an event that happened after his backstory, as it claims "Dwight was never heard from again." so what was the mindset behind this as it completely negates his backstory and everything we know about him.

This is probably before the events of the forest. Maybe his boss got revenge on him?
I don't think so.. He assaulted a co-worker, the boss would have been put in jail or at minimum removed from his position.
Dwight did it first as per flash back and then later his boss got revenge on him, or?
The backstory mentioned in his original lore is the time Dwight went missing. He was never heard from again after that. That doesn't mean that the cutscene you saw couldn't have happened before that, though.
Maybe he got a different boss then? Its definitely confusing.
The one I'm confused with is The Legions. In their lore it says Joey stabbed the janitor after Frank, but in the animation it shows Julie going second.
Most people these days don’t stay in one job forever, it’s probably just a different boss or a different workplace.
It clearly predates it and is a completely different boss to the one he had when he went missing. Dwight is working at some media company here called Channel 22. According to the story he is getting well paid, and wants to keep the job, he just hates his boss for very good reasons. If you read the full story you'll see what happens and why it leads to Dwight doing what he did. When you do you'll see he is still the lovable innocent Dweet we know.
Also Dwight's official backstory never says his boss drugged him. Dwight just can't handle moonshine. That was at PizzaWhat. That's his dead end job.
They changed Legion's story so they might have changed Dwight's as well.
