Respect Your Fellow Fog Travelers!
Hello, my name is Nick and I'd like to give a speech about what I been seeing in this community as well as my personal experience.
WHAT I BEEN SEEING IN THIS COMMUNITY:
I seen so much insults that I'm about this close from not getting on the DBD forums ever again. Seriously, guys and girls, people don't need to be insulted, you are so much better than that! People may have harsh lifes or may be having a bad day and they get on DBD forums to see that they got an insult... How do you think that makes the person feel? Seriously you may not think about it but words can be just as damaging as actions if not more! Please just think twice about the things you say because you can actually make their day that much worse.
HOW TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON:
I know that everyone won't be nice, there will always be people who are just simply jerks. Here are some ways to improve yourself and make this community a more comfortable place for your fog travelers. Hopefully this will reduce the amount of toxicity in this community, please read!
1.) Give polite feedback and don't say things like "Your suggestion is garbage!" "This idea is bad!" "Wow, what a stupid idea!"
Sometimes telling the OP why their suggestion is bad can help out. Remember, it's okay to dislike someone's idea but make sure that you explain why you disagree! This is a discussion after all!
2.) If you are upset, don't say anything at all!
There are some times where someone posted a RIDICULOUS thread that makes you wanna go bananas but just don't! Remember, that person could be new to the game or they are just trying to help! If you go bananas on them for sharing something, they might not wanna share anymore ideas! The DBD forums is a place where your supposed to be open and share your imagination with the forums, not the opposite!
3.) Add compliments!
Seriously, a word can do so much damage to a person but it can also do wonders! Many times I would have a bad day but someone would tell me something like "Great job! Your ideas are great!" That right there made my day that much better! It can do the same to others, don't be afraid to say that their idea is great... Even if it's bad sometimes.
That's all, hopefully this community will be that much better!
If you have any tips on how to become a better person, leave them below and please, no, hate mail, seriously it's needed! Thanks!

I get that they were different times, but to say that people now are "too sensitive" when it's objectively better than before is taking a massive ######### on centuries of progress. Unless you live in a shithole like the USA, your chances of being killed just because someone's upset about something you said are virtually zero.
where i live i almost never saw open violence against others ( and if that happens its a quick call of the police and the slammer for the suspect.)
Some people lack of sense of humor, which i think is the path to be mentally stable, and those who are too sensitive are always bothered by meaningless things, making their own life worse without a real reason.
I was polite in the beginning, but after years of my logical arguments being ignored just to be insulted, I mostly gave up on this community.
@Nickenzie while i may not agree with your post this has been one of the more interesting and engaging posts in days on the forum. So good job by you sparking this conversation.
