so first off let him have two taps by default and if an injured survivor is trapped they get downed if they escape, if they are healthy they remain injured after getting freed or free themselves. I haven't thought of many others but i think these two will buff him quite a lot

Yeah, they would. I don't think an injured survivor should go into dying state, but I wouldnt mind it adding something like a slower movement speed effect for a duration if they manage to escape. That's realistic.

the only buff he needs to to be able to pick up all his traps and hold all of his traps.
