Buckle Up and For the People Upgrading Suggestions

Buckle Up

The recovery progress of dying Survivors can be determined by the intensity of their Auras.

if you are within a radius of 32 meters from a dying survivor, his recovery speed is increased by 15%.

you heal dying survivors 10/15/20% faster.

When you heal a Survivor from the Dying State to Injured, both the healed Survivor and yourself see the Killer's Aura for a duration of 6 seconds.

For the People

You risk life and injury for others.

For the People is only active while injured or healthy.

Press the Active Ability button while healing another Survivor without a Med-kit to instantly heal them from Dying to Injured, or from Injured to Healthy.

the healed survivor's exhaustion timer resets if he has one.

if you heal a survivor while healthy, You become Injured and receive the Broken status effect for 90/75/60 seconds.

IF YOU HEAL A SURVIVOR WHILE injured, YOU BECOME dying AND RECEIVE THE BROKEN STATUS EFFECT FOR 120/105/90 SECONDS.

You can't use the Perk while Broken.

You become the Obsession.

Decreases your chances of being the Obsession at the start of the match.

The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Abuse protection: If you've been transferred from an Injured State to a Dying State. The Decisive Strike timer expires if you have it and you cannot be healed with first-aid kits.

  • I dont understand why you have to be healthy for it to work. It should work regardless of your health. You give away one health state for another. You sacrifice yourself for somebody else. Synergy with no mither and unbreakable.

    To be honest, when I wrote this post, I first wanted to write like this:

    FOR THE PEOPLE IS ONLY ACTIVE WHILE unjured or HEALTHY.

    if you heal a survivor while healthy, YOU BECOME INJURED AND RECEIVE THE BROKEN STATUS EFFECT FOR 90/75/60 SECONDS.

    IF YOU HEAL A SURVIVOR WHILE injured YOU BECOME dying AND RECEIVE THE BROKEN STATUS EFFECT FOR 120 SECONDS.

    but then I changed my mind, as I considered that my proposal would be considered too OP

    Hmm.. Maybe you're right

  • This is what For the People shoulda been, perfect perk change. As for Buckle Up, I think that it should heal downed survivors 40% faster AND other people heal you while you’re on the ground 40% faster.

    No.... just no for the “for the people” idea, one it still wouldn’t be useful and two, that is waaaay too much of a description for a single perk, I hate all these complicated and specific perks they have coming out, I prefer much simple one and done perks like enduring or alert, Simple perk gives a simple advantage. Gearhead is a prime example of a stupid amount of unnecessary complications for a single perk.

    I really don’t understand the meaning of your comment. Nobody forces you to use the Perk that you don't like or that you won't like. At the moment, people are quite complex and my change will not make it more complex. As for me, simple perks are not very interesting and the game needs variety and in some moments complex perks will only improve the game.

    For The People should just enable a player to trade in one of his health states

    Healthy -> Injured

    Injured-> Dying

    On a 90 or 120 second cooldown and being broken during that time.

  • I feel like those two perks are completely fine as is. Buckle Up may need a little bit of something, but not that. For The People doesn't need a change. And in case you're wondering, yes, I actually run these perks regularly on my healer build. Buckle Up is fantastic for solo games. For The People is a strategic perk, not a blind insta-heal. Instantly relieving Exhaustion will also create its own set of problems too. If both the downed Survivor and their healer have Dead Hard, it won't even matter what the Killer does as long as they have good ping. Lastly, the perk will become way too complex. The description is already long enough.
