Deathslingers terror radius

I had one right behind a rock and the only way i knew where he was was cause he was carrying feng and she was wiggling. Is this intended? Or do the devs just not know how to make a terror radius? I havent played survivor in a bit so havent went against one yet

Edit: i could hear the tr but it sounded like he was far cause the music wasent loud even though i was right next to him

    I could hear the tr but i didnt know which direction it was like freddy or huntresses lullabys

    He was using devour, stbfl, ruin and pop

    the Terror Radius is not directional, for any killer.

    the only thing it gives away is the distance towards the killer, by it getting louder with more music added the closer the killer gets, which is the case with Deathslinger aswell.

    Hmm never had this problem in the release, must of been during the BloodRush/ Hotfix update. They did fix an issue with him, maybe fixing that issue caused a new problem lool

    I’m going to check it out in a custom game, if it’s still happening then I’m going to file a bug report

    something to watch out for with Deathslinger and his Terror Radius is, that it doesnt start with the usual heartbeat, but instead with some music slowly building up.

    when the heartbeats starts he is already pretty close to you, as the general Terror Radius range is only 24 meters, so you will want to leave as soon as you hear western music playing in the background.

    also, Freddys song has never been directional and the Huntresses lullaby has recently been changed to no longer be directional.

    i meant u cant hear the distance with deathslinger cause the music and heartbeat just dont get loud. Normally i can tell which direction the killer is or how far they are but i cant with deathslingers tr

    ah okay i misread that last part then.

    i thought you ment it like "i couldnt tell the direction like i can with the lullabies" - my bad then! ill scratch that part out xD


    regarding the TR distance, the music changes - the closer he gets the more intense it gets, with some more instruments joining in, aswell as a hearbeat joining in at some point.

    its a very uncommon Terror Radius, thats for sure. you'll have to get used to it..
