Wiggle time should be shorter or hooks should be farther apart
With how long it takes to wiggle out of the killer's grasp and how close hooks are together, it's almost pointless to attempt. I'm not saying make it so that survivors are guaranteed to wiggle free everytime they're picked up by the killer, but how it is now makes it almost impossible.

You shouldn't be able to wiggle easily off the killers shoulder. The point of wiggle is to deter killers from hooking you in the basement half way across the map. If you get downed, then you should be hooked that's how I see it.
Without help of perks or other survivrs (which also have perks or are many) you shouldn't be able to wiggle off on your own period.
As others have pointed out, it's supposed to be almost impossible. Apparently the wiggle-off rate is something like 3-5%. You're not supposed to wiggle free without significant outside help unless you get very lucky - the point of the mechanic isn't to give you a second chance, it's to stop the killer from putting you wherever they want you.
