Dear Dead By Daylight: Clown Changes (Excerpt)
Hello again,
I uploaded a document (and accompanying forum post) titled Dear Dead by Daylight about 2 months ago which has been getting incredible feedback from you guys here in the community, but the biggest suggestion was to split all the change ideas into multiple documents to make them easily digestible. Today, I bring you suggestions for changing The Clown. If you want to know my reasoning or check out the rest of the changes, I'll leave a link to the main post as well as the previous article. P.S. This list isn't perfect and I may change things on the main document based on new data, but I don't plan on changing anything on these fragment posts, so if something seems off, make sure to check the main document or comments to make sure it isn't already fixed.
"Nerf the initial effects of the Afterpiece Tonic to -10% movement speed and give it 2 extra stages; 2nd tier (after 5 seconds) gives them -20% movement speed and are unable to fast vault or use pallets, 3rd tier (after 10 seconds) has them go immediately into the dying state. 1.5 seconds out of gas radius negates all effects and resets the timer on progressing tiers if they are on tier 1 or 2. If they go into the dying state due to the gas, you will go back into the injured state after 15 seconds and are under the effect of the state 2 gas for another 30 seconds.
- Consequential changes: Ether 5 Vol% increases the time needed outside the gas cloud to negate the effects to 2 seconds, Ether 10 Vol% increases the time needed outside the gas cloud to negate the effects to 2.5 seconds, Garish Make-up Kit moderately expands The Afterpiece Tonic Gas Effect area and increases the time needed outside the gas cloud to negate the effects to 2 seconds, and Ether 15 Vol% increases the time needed outside the gas cloud to negate the effects to 3 seconds"
