Gen tap abuse
The regression on gens should be reworked, when someone taps a generator more than once, the regression rate should go up by 2-5% instantly for each killer kick on the same generator up to 20% instant regression (based on number of kicks), so this way people think twice before abusing the generator

That's not abuse, it's just use. Initiating the repair action is supposed to stop regression. If you think that the mechanic is too strong, you can discuss that, but don't call it abuse when the survivors are just playing strategically.
In the meantime, a better strategy is to not waste time kicking generators if you know there's a survivor nearby who will just tap it straight away.
This is one reason the new Ruin isn't terrible. I mean it's still a hex and they'll spawn on top of it or it'll spawn right next to a gen (lol) but sometimes you can get couple minutes out of it and it can make a difference.
That being said, the game tries to be balanced around survivors. The regression is so slow (0.25 charges per second, they repair at 1 charge per second before perks/tools) It also takes ~2 seconds to kick a gen and less than a second for them to stop it.
From what I've seen, most killers won't even bother with gens outside of certain perks (Pop goes the weasel, ruin, surge occasionally if they don't have Pop) or certain situations (the gen is greater than 50%-75% and maybe it's down to 3 or 4 gens on the map. That being said, it all depends on the situation.
Agree with Fibijean, it isn't abuse even if it is crap. A better fix for the situation would be changing kicking a gen to cause 10-15% instant regression and then trigger normal regression rate - this way Survivor's think twice about stopping regression and allowing the killer to get another kick in for another immediate regression; that way Survivors can't just keep tapping the gen to stop regression in the killer's face.
