Dbd mobile has bots but what about pc and console ?

in one of the latest patch notes for the mobile version it’s said that bots would be coming and it would work like this, if a survivor dcs a bot will replace them. I don’t think we could really say much about if the bots are sentient or not but it’s bhvr a first attempt well actually not because the tutorial had killer and surv bots but I would like to see this on console for killer and survivor mainly killer due to the fact that my survivor q times are horrible and I know that people are saying “ the bots are going to be so bad “ like if it didn’t matter to the gold ranks that are matched with red ranks anyway point is bots would be a cool feature.

Just to clarify a few things, because I'm guessing this is probably going to be a hot topic for a while:

    • Mobile and core are two different projects with two different teams.
    • Mobile is currently in beta, so there's a lot more freedom to try out new features.
    • With mobile being, well, mobile, a lot of people may lose connection unintentionally (lost reception on the go, for example). On core, disconnections are typically someone choosing to disconnect. As a result, punishing people on mobile for unintentional disconnects wouldn't make a lot of sense, and replacing people with bots on core wouldn't discourage people from disconnecting in the first place.

None of that means that the core version of DBD will never get bots. We are still under the same roof and we do share with each other. However, it's not a priority at the moment since we're looking to solve different issues.

  • Awwww, why does mobile get the team that seems to care about fixing major problems in the game? Ignoring bots, the husk system would have been easy as hell to implement.

Gotta love when someone not on the Dev team or a programmer calls something easy to implement. 😂🤣

You need to make so if the player DC the character still exists but lose all the ability they have like movent.

  • If the game keeps going the way it is there wont be any killers left and you will have the game you wanted. A points pinata killer who has been castrated.

  • I think more players are intentionally dcing in pc version that loosing connection in mobile version tho... :D

even I as as killer when survivor dcs in first 30 sec match thinks its just bad and those 3 poor guys just instantly lost... adding ai is a great idea..

same for training mode where we could try out mindgaming of moonwalking, new ideas for builds, survivors for looping and practicing pallets... actually its really shame that in 2020 theres still no mode here... what do I know right ?

First of all, I can program. Second, the irony and hypocrisy of you saying that when you have no clue whether it's easy to implement or not.

The husk system actually requires less programming than the instadeath system that's currently in place. A disconnecting player's character just idling like they're afk would be default behavior. BHVR actually had to program them to instadie like they do on disconnects. Though I will admit, the plan they talked about to have the husk die after a minute or so would be more programming, but you don't need to do that right away. Just a basic afk character would be helpful on its own at making up for the otherwise loss in bloodpoints.
