Keys are better then moris

First:

Moris and keys need a nerf. Its unfun to go against either of them. Moris should work on death hook, keys should have an animation for hatch opening.

But:

If you take a pink mori with you and kill every survivor on second hook after tunneling you will depip in red ranks and maybe in purple ranks as well.

If you key hatch you did exactly what youre supposed to do, if theres a gen or two left? screw that points, youll pip no matter what or at least blank pip.

Moris are only benefitial if you use them on death hook. But keys are rewarding bad survivors.

2 survivors can escape with one key if there are only 3 gens done. 3 Gens are equally to one long first chase.

  • Your asking the devs to nerf survivors? You speak crazyness

  • Do you know that the game discourages tunneling or camping? Yet, you do? You already are discouraged by having less points per mori... Don't expect to pip if you tunnel or camp.

  • I've never de-pipped 2 hook mori'ing anyone... Maybe take a look at other things your doing in the game.

You're a rare breed. Most killers I have faced who bring in moris will do it after first hook.

Then why is it you can bring a toolbox, finish a gen in 20 seconds and still pip like normal?

Yes toolboxes are still very strong with the current changes to the game. However, the devs have already said they are looking into changing toolboxes.

So this is an issue for now, but will more likely be resolved within the next few patches.

EDIT: To be clear, a toolbox is not the same as a mori, the OP has it more correct. A key is more comparable to a Mori than a toolbox is. Its complicated if you are going to compare every thing a survivor can bring in to a Mori as they are not all as easily comparable.

    Based.

Moris and Keys are extremely strong, and Ivory, and ebony mori's should be removed, along with keys.

    Devour hope, rancor, cypress?

    Those should all stay.

Rancor doesn't reward skill and is much more than just a cosmetic item.

Rancor is just a way to mori people for a daily when you had no moris

Agreed. If I managed to get 5 stacks of DH I deserve that mori!

  • Well, considering the devs themselves have said the ranking system means nothing, depipping should NOT be a criteria to evaluate what's strong.

Moris guarantee you 4ks if you're even somewhat competent at killer. Keys contribute heavily towards an escape but don't guarantee it. Both should be nerfed, but moris should go first. I'm surprised they're still in the game, they should have gone before instaheals even.

  • Reason is that Keys follow a simple rule of "X Gens need to be completed"

I once made a suggestion about it saying Ebony and ivory Moris should follow this rule and become available after 1 gen, and another mori available after the next gen is complete.

This way is to reduce the 5 gen 4k mori wipes that happen all too often, while keeping the game going in a steady pace and reward both sides at the same time.

(Meaning you can have any number of hooks prior to a mori becoming available at 4 gens and so on)

First, it's impossible to finish a gen in 20 seconds.

Second, even if you finish all generators and escape that won't assure you a pip, even in yellow ranks that's impossible. You need to be chased and escape if possible, also help your teammates.
